A Useful Benefit for Three Common Employer Challenges
Traditional insurance is valuable, but it can be difficult for small businesses to provide and difficult for some employees to afford. Simple Medical Benefits offers a practical supplemental option.
When Traditional Insurance Is Not Feasible
Not every small business can afford a traditional group health plan. You can still provide enrolled employees and their families with access to a meaningful everyday health benefit.
- Predictable monthly cost
- 24/7 virtual urgent-care access
- Eligible household members included
When Employees Cannot Afford the Available Plan
Some employees decline insurance because their share of the premium would take too much from each paycheck. This membership gives them a lower-cost way to access eligible virtual urgent care.
- No deductible required for the virtual service
- No copay or per-consultation charge
- Available with or without insurance
When Retaining Trained Employees Matters
Recruiting, onboarding and training require time and money. A practical household benefit can strengthen your compensation package and show employees that their well-being matters.
- Add value beyond the paycheck
- Help smaller employers compete for dependable workers
- Give good employees another reason to stay
Support employee retention
Protect the Investment You Make in Good People
When a trained employee leaves for a competitor, the business loses more than a person. It may also lose the time spent recruiting, onboarding and developing that employee.
A useful family benefit will not replace competitive pay, but it can improve the overall value employees receive from working for your company.
Benefits do not guarantee retention. They can, however, give employees another meaningful reason to value where they work.

No. It is a supplemental membership program and is not intended to replace comprehensive health insurance.
Can we offer this if our business does not provide health insurance?
Yes. This program can be offered to employees whether or not your business provides health insurance. It gives participating employees and their households convenient access to eligible virtual urgent care and can be used with or without insurance. Simple Medical Benefits is not health insurance and is not intended to replace comprehensive health coverage.
Can employees use it alongside an existing health plan?
Yes. Employees may use it as a convenient supplement for eligible non-emergency concerns, including situations where a regular office visit could involve travel, waiting time, a copay or deductible-related expense.
